What character's are marketed toward tweens and young adults ?

I have a project to come up with a character (PaintBrush,Key,Soap, or gles) that would appeal to Tween or young adults? I am so stuck on how to make a regular house hold object appeal to an age group that is based so much on . Any ideas would be great..
