How can i make my house smell really good?

well i have glade where you plug them and they work great. but they are expensive! and febreze finishes super FAST. 3 people smoke in my house and i hate it. i can't stop them. but do you guys know any ideas/ tips about keeping house smell very fresh and good? what are some other good products?
