Pet Sedative Prior to Being Euthanized?

I can only answer as I would personnally want to do. If it were me. I would want no sedative. I have not had to euthanize a pet as of yet so can only speak as to how I would want to go. I would want to experience every last moment with family/friends and not in a slumber.
