The Host by Stephenie M. question?

Ok, at the end of the book, Wanda is placed into the body of another girl. It explains she is very petite, and much shorter than even Jamie, and the room she describes from Pet's memories seems somewhat childish. I couldn't quite understand how old the girl's body was. Anyone catch that?
